The California Inland Empire DEC, the U.S. Commercial Service, and other organizations sponsor a broad range of events to help you learn more about exporting and how to develop international sales.
DEC Events: Of necessity in 2020, the Inland Empire DEC and other DECs around the country were unable to host live events, and began producing more online programs. Many of these excellent “local” DEC programs are now being offered nationwide. To learn more about such events, click here. U.S. Commercial Service Events: The USCS organizes hundreds of domestic and overseas trade events each year, and often complements them with related seminars, business match-making, and export counseling. It also maintains an excellent online event database, which you can search by topic, industry, and country. Well worth a look!
California’s State Trade Expansion Program sponsors a variety of international trade shows, trade missions, and other export promotions. Priority sectors include: information & telecommunications technologies, green technologies, aerospace and defense, food and agricultural products, california lifestyle products, medical equipment, scientific instrumentation, transportation equipment, and industrial machinery. STEP is administered by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GOBiz).
